Executive Search

What is Executive Search?

Executive Search - Recruiter - Headhunter

On the website of Jobadder we find the following definition (Quote): "... an executive search is an employment search that is undertaken in order to find candidates to fill executive roles, or other positions of equivalent seniority.

This search is usually conducted by executive search firms on behalf of a third-party company. The advantage of an executive search being performed by an executive search firm is that the firm can undertake an initial screening of the candidate and confirm if they are suitable for the role and ascertain what their remuneration expectations before putting them in touch with the company.

As executive searches target highly qualified and desirable candidates, ideal candidates are sometimes already employed and are best approached by executive search firms in order to glean information about their interest in leaving their current role for a new opportunity....".

What is a Renewable Resource?

From the website investopedia by author Caroline Benton

(Quote): "... A renewable resource is a substance of economic value that can be replaced or replenished in the same or less amount of time than it takes to draw the supply down. Some renewable resources have, essentially, an endless supply such as solar energy, wind energy, and geothermal pressure, whereas other resources are considered renewable even though some time or effort must go into their renewal (e.g., wood, oxygen, leather, and fish). Most precious metals are renewable also. Although precious metals are not naturally replaced, they can be recycled because they are not destroyed during their extraction and use.

A renewable resource is different from a nonrenewable resource; a nonrenewable resource is depleted and cannot be recovered once it is used. As the human population continues to grow, the demand for renewable resources increases..." (unquote).

Ms. Benton explains types of Renewable Resources:
(Quote): "... Natural resources are a form of equity, and they are known as natural capital. Biofuel, or energy made from renewable organic products, has gained prevalence in recent years as an alternative energy source to nonrenewable resources such as coal, oil, and natural gas. Although prices are still higher for biofuel, increasing scarcity and the forces of supply and demand will result in higher prices for fossil fuels, which will make the price of biofuel more competitive.

Types of biofuels include biodiesel, an alternative to oil, and green diesel, which is made from algae and other plants. Other renewable resources include oxygen and solar energy. Wind and water are also used to create renewable energy. For example, windmills harness the wind's natural power and turn it into energy..." (unquote).
